Dr. Nick Voudouris
Nick’s undergraduate education was at Trinity College, University of Toronto. He completed his MD at the University of Calgary in 1984. Nick interned at North York General Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He spent 3 years providing medical care in small communities in Ontario and the Northwest Territories before joining Thornhill Medical Centre in November 1990. Nick has been at our office for over 30 years! He is also a graduate (with distinction) of the EMBA program at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, 2003. He is the Past Chairman of the Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Foundation, helping raise $35 million for the hospital’s redevelopment. He is currently Physician Lead for Community Engagement and Chief of the Surgical Assistants at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital.

Dr. Roy Blachowitz
Roy received his Medical degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1985. He then spent 2 cold years working as a Family Physician in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He joined Thornhill Medical Centre in 1991 after completing a family medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. He is on active staff at Mackenzie Health Hospital working in the Long Term Care Department and also does palliative care in the community.

Dr. Janet Morse
Janet did her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences and her Medical degree at Queen’s University, finishing in 1991. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She worked for 2 years in rural Alberta with her husband, Dr. Darren Larsen, then returned to Thornhill in 1995 to join this practice upon her father, Dr. Peter Morse’s, retirement.

Dr. Colleen Cheung
Colleen joined us in 2002 as a locum and became a permanent member of our team in 2003. She studied Human Biology at the University of Toronto and went on to continue medical school there. Colleen completed her Family Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1999.

Dr. Robin Rosen
Robin graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1994 and completed her Family Practice Residency at the University of Toronto in 1996. She was working as a Family Physician at York University for 12 years. She joined our practice in September 2010.

Dr. Garway Wong
Garway did an undergraduate degree at University of Toronto in Immunology. He completed medical school at McMaster University in 2008. Garway started at TMC in 2012 initially to cover for Dr. Larsen’s sabbatical. Garway has a special interest in Aboriginal health. He also works in Brantford serving urban and on-reserve Aboriginals.

Dr. Stella Arbitman

Dr. Arbitman attended the University of Toronto School of Medicine and graduated in 1992.  She completed a Family Practice Residency in Toronto at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1994.  Stella speaks Spanish, French and some Hebrew.  She joined our practice in 1997. She enjoys teaching medical students and family practice residents.

LydiaDr. Lydia Cheung 

Dr. Lydia Cheung joined the team at Thornhill Medical Centre in 2015. She completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at McMaster University, graduated from medical school at the University of Western Ontario in 2011 and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. She works part-time here, and her other days are spent providing Community Palliative Care Services in Markham.

Mich2016Dr. Michel Beausoleil

Dr. Michel Beausoleil completed his Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario. He then completed his Medical degree at the University of Toronto. He did his Family Practice residency training at UHN Toronto Western Hospital. During residency, he did a rotation at Thornhill Medical Centre, and now has been part of our team since 2016. He also provides Community Palliative Care services.

Dr. Meagan Thang

Dr. Meagan Thang graduated from the University of Toronto’s MD Program in 2020. She completed her family medicine residency training and was a chief resident at the University of Toronto’s North York General Hospital site. During her residency, she also trained at Thornhill Medical Centre, and she later joined the practice after graduating in 2022. In addition, she enjoys mentoring and teaching medical school students, and she will continue to be an active member of the local community.

Our Nurses
We are very fortunate to have the assistance of a unique group of caring and committed Registered Nurses. They provide skilled telephone triage, advice and support, injections, dressing changes, and respond to many other patient needs.

**Please book an appointment to see our nurses. This includes appointments for injections. Due to volume, walk-ins will be asked to return with an appointment.
